Underglaze in so many ways.

Five liquid ranges, plus our awesome chalk and pencil options.

The power of one. Just pure, solid colour, no tricks or pooling effects here. Like your glaze straightforward and classy, this one is for you. Keep it sleek on low, mid, or high fire pieces.

The ultimate wildcard. With these glazes, every piece is one of a kind.  Throw in some crevices, experiment with firing temps, and watch your art do its thing.

The show stopper. Glorious crystals bringing in the wow factor! Available in low and mid-fire, these beauties can craze like nobody’s business, so maybe don’t serve up dinner on them. But as eye candy? Next level.

For work that pops (literally). These glazes create a raised, textured effect that doesn’t flatten out in the firing. Great for linework, sponging, or even a little palette knife action. Works wonders at low or mid-fire.

Color treat, without the heat. These bad boys don’t go near a kiln – just like regular acrylic paint, but made for bisque. Perfect for kids’ programs and bisque art parties; just paint and go, no firing required.

Lock it in, for the win. The final seal! Work so good you want to eat off it? Food-safe option is for you. Just like your stuff shiny? We’ve got your back at low, mid, or high-fire.

Keep the studio stocked. For high-volume glaze fiends who want to minimise waste. Buy in bulk and mix as you need. Awesome way to get a little more bang for your buck.

CAFE COLORS IN THE WILD

“These colors fire so brightly its nuts and they come in colors that I haven't seen anywhere else. I use them with regular Underglazes and One Strokes as they play nicely together but best of all is how they fire if left unglazed - the satin finish is divine!

We’re beginner Friendly and here to help (FAQ)

Can I mix Cafe Color H with other underglazes?

We wouldn’t recommend mixing the colors themselves, but feel free to work with different ranges on the same piece! Just make sure you stick to the same firing temperatures across the ranges.

What is the firing range for Cafe Color H?

The Cafe Color H range has different firing temperatures based on the color. They all fall into one of these:

  • Cone 4 (1,186°C) – Cone 8 (1,263°C)
  • Cone 4 (1,186°C) – Cone 10 (1,305°C)

You can refer to the trusty filter above to see which color will work for you!

How is the Cafe Color H range different from the other underglaze ranges?

The Cafe Color H range has been specifically developed for mid-high firing artists!

They contain a higher amount of pigment to ensure those colors stay bright.

Can Cafe Color H be applied to both greenware and bisque?

Hell yes! Like a typical underglaze product, these guys can be applied to both greenware or bisque.

Will Cafe Color H colors change after firing?

If fired between our recommended firing temperature, the color will be the same.

You can take a risk and fire the mid firing colors higher. Chances are you’ll see a color! Just know it won’t be the same as the color swatch shown.

Do Cafe Color H have a limited shelf life?

We guarantee all our products for 2 years as long as they are stored out of direct sunlight and not contaminated. Please don’t use dirty brushes in your bottles or add back any unused underglaze to the bottle! – You’re just asking for trouble.

Tony, owner and chemist, has done a damn good job at nailing the shelf life on this range so expect them to last past 2 years.
