The Crackle Glaze is perfect for decorative pieces or the exterior of functional ware. This glaze makes every piece as unique as the artist behind it.

Layer it up – two to three coats to unlock the best effect!

Don't skimp on the drying time between coats.

Embrace the glorious bleed on colors that touch.

Does not mix well with other colors in the range (they're shy) but layer away.

Just for the eyes people - not food safe.

Keep it on the LOW, the low bisque that is.

All Crackle Glaze fire between Cone 06 (999°C) to Cone 04 (1,060°C).
We’re beginner Friendly and here to help (FAQ)
We wouldn’t recommend mixing the colors themselves, but feel free to work with different ranges on the same piece! Just make sure you stick to the same firing temperatures across the ranges.
Also be aware that some glazes can run during the firing process (especially this range!). So test, test, test.
Not on the inside of functional ware, but is fine for the outside!
Lets be real, if there’s cracks in your glaze, would you want to eat off it anyway? Bacteria grows in those places, guys!
After application of this glaze, fire it and let it completely cool. Then grab that contrasting ink or underglaze and apply. Then wipe off the excess and voilà!
Your cracks and now accentuated.
Please store these in a cool, dark place with the lid tightly sealed.
