Underglaze in so many ways.

Five liquid ranges, plus our awesome chalk and pencil options.

The power of one. Just pure, solid colour, no tricks or pooling effects here. Like your glaze straightforward and classy, this one is for you. Keep it sleek on low, mid, or high fire pieces.

The ultimate wildcard. With these glazes, every piece is one of a kind.  Throw in some crevices, experiment with firing temps, and watch your art do its thing.

The show stopper. Glorious crystals bringing in the wow factor! Available in low and mid-fire, these beauties can craze like nobody’s business, so maybe don’t serve up dinner on them. But as eye candy? Next level.

For work that pops (literally). These glazes create a raised, textured effect that doesn’t flatten out in the firing. Great for linework, sponging, or even a little palette knife action. Works wonders at low or mid-fire.

Color treat, without the heat. These bad boys don’t go near a kiln – just like regular acrylic paint, but made for bisque. Perfect for kids’ programs and bisque art parties; just paint and go, no firing required.

Lock it in, for the win. The final seal! Work so good you want to eat off it? Food-safe option is for you. Just like your stuff shiny? We’ve got your back at low, mid, or high-fire.

Keep the studio stocked. For high-volume glaze fiends who want to minimise waste. Buy in bulk and mix as you need. Awesome way to get a little more bang for your buck.

CRYSTALLITE

Matt finish meets hidden gems. This matt glaze hides little clear crystal surprises that pop up just where you want them. Lay down three coats on greenware or bisque for a smooth, even finish.

The Crystallite range is designed for decorative use, but it looks just as good on the exterior of functional pieces, too.

We’re beginner Friendly and here to help (FAQ)

Can I mix Crystallite with other underglazes and glazes?

We wouldn’t recommend mixing the colors themselves, but feel free to work with different ranges on the same piece! Just make sure you stick to the same firing temperatures across the ranges.

What is the firing range for Crystallite?

The Crystallite range has different firing temperatures based on the color. They all fall into one of these:

  • Cone 06 (999°C) – Cone 04 (1,060°C)
  • Cone 06 (999°C) – Cone 8 (1,263°C)

You can refer to the trusty filter above to see which color will work for you!

Can Crystallite be applied to both greenware and bisque?

Hell yes! These guys can be applied to both greenware or bisque.

Will Crystallite colors change after firing?

If fired between our recommended firing temperature, the color will be the same.

You can take a risk and fire the low firing colors higher. Chances are you’ll see a color! Just know it won’t be the same as the color swatch shown.

My crystal effect is uneven.

On application, make sure to evenly space out the crystals to where you’d like them! They will then burst there during firing.
