Keen to enhance that crystal party to something on another level?
Throw some Fantasy Crystals in the mix and create an entirely new glaze that’s your own style. We’ve also given you the option to help that glaze flow with the addition of some Fantasy Enhancer (SP025) – just make sure it doesn’t flow right off your piece in firing!
FANTASY GLAZE IN THE WILD
BASIC USAGE GUIDE
The Fantasy Glaze might craze (so you didn't do anything wrong in your firing!) but no worries because this glaze belongs on the outside of your functional ware. Embrace the chaos, my friend.

Layer it up – one to three coats with evenly spread crystals to unlock the best effect!

Don't skimp on the drying time between coats.

Keep it on the LOW, low fire bisque that is.

All Fantasy Glaze fire between Cone 06 (999°C) to Cone 04 (1,060°C).
We’re beginner Friendly and here to help (FAQ)
We wouldn’t recommend mixing the colors themselves, but feel free to work with different ranges on the same piece! Just make sure you stick to the same firing temperatures across the ranges.
Also be aware that some glazes can run during the firing process (especially this range!). So test, test, test.
Yes! Mix the entire range to create your own unique color palette.
Eating off crystals doesn’t sound too appealing, so leave this range for the outside of your functional or decorative ware.
You haven’t done anything wrong! This range tends to craze due to the crystals. Not to worry because it will look fantastic on display for all to see!
When using this range, make sure you shake the bottle to evenly disperse the crystals within the glaze.
When applying to your work, you can manually move the crystals to the places where you want them to burst with color!
