Underglaze in so many ways.

Five liquid ranges, plus our awesome chalk and pencil options.

The power of one. Just pure, solid colour, no tricks or pooling effects here. Like your glaze straightforward and classy, this one is for you. Keep it sleek on low, mid, or high fire pieces.

The ultimate wildcard. With these glazes, every piece is one of a kind.  Throw in some crevices, experiment with firing temps, and watch your art do its thing.

The show stopper. Glorious crystals bringing in the wow factor! Available in low and mid-fire, these beauties can craze like nobody’s business, so maybe don’t serve up dinner on them. But as eye candy? Next level.

For work that pops (literally). These glazes create a raised, textured effect that doesn’t flatten out in the firing. Great for linework, sponging, or even a little palette knife action. Works wonders at low or mid-fire.

Color treat, without the heat. These bad boys don’t go near a kiln – just like regular acrylic paint, but made for bisque. Perfect for kids’ programs and bisque art parties; just paint and go, no firing required.

Lock it in, for the win. The final seal! Work so good you want to eat off it? Food-safe option is for you. Just like your stuff shiny? We’ve got your back at low, mid, or high-fire.

Keep the studio stocked. For high-volume glaze fiends who want to minimise waste. Buy in bulk and mix as you need. Awesome way to get a little more bang for your buck.

“When they say ‘one stroke’ they mean it! This range is so fun to work with and has cut my painting times in half because I don't have to paint so many layers. I also LOVE using One Strokes for outlining my illustrations. Fine dark lines - even if I water down the colors.

We’re beginner Friendly and here to help (FAQ)

Can I mix One Stroke with other underglazes?

We wouldn’t recommend mixing the colors themselves, but feel free to work with different ranges on the same piece! Just make sure you stick to the same firing temperatures across the ranges.

What is the firing range for One Stroke?

The One Stroke range has different firing temperatures based on the color. They all fall into one of these:

  • Cone 06 (999°C) – Cone 03 (1,101°C)
  • Cone 06 (999°C) – Cone 6 (1,222°C)
  • Cone 06 (999°C) – Cone 10 (1,305°C)

You can refer to the trusty filter above to see which color will work for you!

How is the One Stroke range different from the Standard Underglaze range?

The One Stroke range is a highly pigmented version of our standard Underglaze range. They compliment each other really well on pieces that require depth or detail.

Can One Stroke be applied to both greenware and bisque?

Hell yes! Like a typical underglaze product, these guys can be applied to both greenware or bisque.

I know you can mix One Stroke with other Underglaze, but can you layer them ontop or beneath them also?

Of course you can! As always, test, test, test, before completing your final piece – but we know it will be a stunner.

Will One Stroke colors change after firing?

If fired between our recommended firing temperature, the color will be the same.

You can take a risk and fire low firing colors higher. Chances are you’ll see a color! Just know it won’t be the same as the color swatch shown.

Do One Stroke have a limited shelf life?

We have customers still using One Stroke bottles from the 90’s, so if that doesn’t give you enough confidence we guarantee all our products for 2 years. Store them out of direct sunlight and avoid contamination. Please don’t use dirty brushes in your bottles or add back any unused underglaze to the bottle! – You’re just asking for trouble.

Tony, owner and chemist, has done a damn good job at nailing the shelf life on this range.
